Meet Ryleigh Perry, a remarkable young woman who has found her own powerful way to be heard. Although Ryleigh is unable to speak, she’s discovering new ways to communicate. A few years ago, everything changed when her aunt passed down an old smartphone. For the first time, Ryleigh could “talk” with her family in a whole new way, opening doors to connection, expression, and independence. Seeing the impact firsthand, her brother Jeron was inspired to take action. He founded Ryleigh’s Voice, a nonprofit dedicated to collecting donated smartphones and tablets and placing them in the hands of individuals with special needs.
These devices do more than connect—they empower. They give people the tools to learn, communicate, and share their voices with the world. You can help make that same difference for another family. Learn more by calling (910) 292-4257 or emailing info@ryleighsvoice.org.
